Driven by the desire to better understanding the state of environmental education in our region as well as the unique needs and barriers facing schools, the Southeastern Environmental Education Alliance conducted the first regional landscape analysis of environmental education efforts across the eight southeastern states.  Learn more about this project and current efforts to scale this nationally.  During this session, we'll show you the outcomes of the analysis and how you can use our new tools to build or strengthen your own environmental education programs and networks and better understand the needs of educators both in and out of the classroom.  Whether you are a classroom teacher, nonformal educator, administrator, organizational leader, higher education faculty, or student, this session is for you!  Participants will leave with a more robust understanding of our field, potential partners, opportunities for growth, and strategies for how to better direct our limited capacity in the areas where we can have the biggest impact.
